Smothers Theatre At Pepperdine University tickets & upcoming events

If you’re into live performances or just looking for a cool night out in Malibu, you’ve gotta check out Smothers Theatre at Pepperdine University. This place isn’t just some run-of-the-mill venue, it has a real vibe, with top-notch acoustics and a cozy, intimate setting that makes every show feel special. They host all kinds of events, from cutting-edge plays and dance performances to concerts featuring both local talent and big-name artists. I’ve seen some fantastic workshops here too, especially on scriptwriting and film making, led by some pretty renowned writers. And if you’re into regional arts, you’ll love how they highlight local dramatists and showcase their work. The theatre’s tradition of seasonal events, especially around the holidays, really brings the community together, it’s like a little Malibu cultural hub. Oh, and pro tip: Row 10 seats are often the sweet spot for the best view, and if you’re lucky, you might get a peek at the artists in the performance pit, which is usually reserved for performers and crew. Getting there is pretty straightforward, if you’re coming from the east, I’d recommend taking Mulholland down to the coast highway. Once you arrive, just follow the signs, and you’re in for a night of top-tier entertainment. Whether you're grabbing last-minute tickets or planning ahead, Smothers Theatre always has something exciting on the calendar. From VIP sections for KPOP fans to budget-friendly options, there's a seat for everyone. Trust me, it’s worth checking out their ticketing page early, seats go fast, and you don’t want to miss out on the fun.
